All I hear about it how everyone is wanting "the look" Wide spread, tall tines, and big frame....so maybe I'm silly to ask this but why isn't noble used more? He's 27 or 28 inside 14" 2's and 34"beams! I can't think of a more beuatiful deer. Maybe it's just me but it doesn't seem like he is used very much as a sire. Whats everyones opinoin?

Have used Noble for 3 years now, my best yearling and my best 2 year old were Noble sons. They do well in the Louisiana heat.

I put a bunch of Noble fawns in my program this summer and we live bred 3 of our best does to Noble this year. I am excited to see how they do. I agree he is one of the best looking deer out there.

I am leaving for the Mid-West Select Sale to deliver a couple deer and to pick up a couple around the first of Feb. 2011. Im looking for a few more deer to deliver / haul . If anyone has a deer that they need delivered please call Troy Gann or Scott White @ 816-716-5307 ASAP. We would appreciate anyone's help . We have hauled deer for 10 years and have only had one loss and that was capture myopathy due to the nature of the fawn we were hired to deliver. We will be going from Missouri to Pa and back. thanks Troy Gann

Noble has been used a lot in the last couple of years. It takes a few years for the offspring to start showing up and i'm sure there will be alot of nice ones showing up soon.

I am in partnership with Ron Myers on Noble and you are right it does take a few years to see what he will produce and he is producing some huge sons all over. I have several Noble does and a couple of yearlings. I have about 4 2010 buck fawns and they are looking good. My biggest yearling in 2010 was 135 but he was a straight typical 12 point. I think he will be well over 200inchs at 2years old in 2010. It is my personal opinion that a lot of money is wasted on these big 300 and 400 inch yearling as far as straws go because nobody know what they will produce and they want big money for these straws. Noble will produce big sons and 2011 will tell the tell for him.

Thanks

Chris How about some pictures of Noble from this years growing season? I would like to see him. Thanks

I will talk to Ron and see what we can come up with. I saw him in person and he narrowed up a good bit but had a lot more mass. He is still at 300inches or better.

He is 7 years old this year so he age is showing the difference in his width and mass.

I don't have any pics myself. But I can get some from Ron.

That sounds great Chris. I just love this buck he has the look in my eyes. Even if he isn't as wide he is still a great buck.

I have a 2 yr old white buck that was sired by Noble. "Zeus" is a big bodied deer with long main beams. He did suffer some antler damage, but still scored 125" as a clean 5 x 5. Zeus was used as a breeder in 2009, and the fawns born in 2010 are the nicest fawns we have ever had. Even the doe fawns are exremely large. We are looking forward to seeing what Zeus grows into in 2011. Picture of Zeus below at 2yrs old taken 7-27-2010
