On a search for BIG typicals

a good start would be anything off barkley and cole youngs farm from pennsylvania he does it yeay after year the dam of the buck texas tea come off his farm as well as several great bucks he has to breed with wildman elijah jailbird and green 228 0r 28 just from seiing the shooters he has sold some guys would just love to raise one for a breeder let alone a shooter and his operation is top notched im gonna use his deer and only his deer in my ai this year seemed liked a no brainer after one visit to his farm

We live in southern Oklahoma, too. Duncan. We have big typicals. Here's a pic of 2 of them. Rambo was the largest net typical, B&C scoring, ever raised last year. He scored 219+. Tyson is 7X7, 7/8 brother to Rambo. Come see 'em and/or give us a call.

Oh' BL P.J. might work for you. he has proven himself also. And then my 6x6 yearling that should score around 160", anf he's just getting started. Also have a BL P.J. two year old thats 24 wide and should score around 230".

Big Guy would be a good choice. I have sold deer to other farmers in Oklahoma and they have done well.

First of all you are doing the best thing possible. You have in mind what you want to accomplish and go after in the means of whitetail deer. Secondly, asking around for info and visiting a variety of farms and deer farmers is always a best thing to do. There are many deer farms across the nation and right in your home state. You can check with your state association, Whitetails of Oklahoma, if you are interested in getting info on more farms in the state or your national association NADeFA for others around the U.S. Whitetails of Oklahoma is having a membership meeting on September 11th in Tulsa at 1 p.m. also if you want to try and meet some other deer farmers and pick their brains. Whatever you do, just don't get in a hurry. Learn about the deer breeding, the industry, genetics and what you find that produces what you are looking for. Congratulations on getting started!
