ONDR pen inspections

T

tri-county whitetails

i have 1st hand information that the DNR in morrow county ohio is refusing to do pen inspections.this is not acceptable.there is a person in that county that needs inspected and the DNR officer there says he aint doin it and for pony not to call him anymore,he would call when he gets info on pen inspection.i have talked to pony tail and checked his pen myself, there are no deer getting in or out it is a fine pen with 8ft fencing.he has alot of money invested and would like to see his effort take effect.he knows he must get permit from DNR and is quietly waiting.

i also would like to thank the dept of ag for the takeover.

The new law states that if the pens meet the requirements, ODNR MUST issue the permit. Have your friend call ODNR in Columbus and if that doesn't work, have him call Representative Dave Hall's office.

that is what i thought also the new law should grant inspection,i did speak to a person that was going to call the ODNR and i waiting for his reply.when pony calls columbus that is what they tell him, they not doing them until they know if its their job or not.they giving him the run around and a hard time,it is a new guy in that county now and wants to show all that is there is a new sherriff in town.so to speak.

anyone want to call the DNR and ask them why morrow county not inspecting deer pens?i do not have that number in front of me.sorry.

pony tail talked to a person who called ODNR and told him he will get pen inspection within the week.i expect it to go rough after the DNR officer gets his just do from his boss or his bosses boss.as stated before the DNR officer in morrow county is new,23 years old and seems to think that he can do and say what he wishes,my mistake he is a game warden and pretty much does as he pleases here in ohio.

time will tell.i do think he will give pony a hard time.he has already told pony on the phone that deer can jump the 8ft fence with ease,i dont think they can.i think they try to jump thru it,highest my 2yr old got when spooked was around 6 feet or so,broke a pole and his antlers but did not get thru to other pen.

i keep addind updates as they come.
