i have a doe fawn that i noticed today that was sliced open which had to have happened over night. not positive on how it happened, its about the size of a quarter or half dollar right on top of her front shoulder blade. i only have 5 deer and just purchased and released the 5th doe which is a 4 year old bred doe in the pen saturday. the fawn was getting on her hind legs and stomping her on the back immediatly, could it possibly be from the other doe retaliating and stomping her??? anyways its still pretty chilly up here in minnesota. 40s. what would you do? treat her with something or just let it go on its own? she seems to be licking it quite often and keeping it clean, but being a rookie just wondering of others thoughts, thanks chris

I have a buck fawn that i noticed has a nice cut between his knee and hoof, It is about 3 inches long and the skin is hanging toward the bottom of the cut. He looks as if he is still eating and drinking and is still acting himself. He is not using this leg at all. Any ideas on what to do?
