We are once again donating a hunt for a youth. I encourage you to bid on this not only to help PA Deer Farms but to give a child a hunt they wont forget. Here is some pics from last year's lucky hunter!
From Henry Martin-
Yesterday I had accompanied a girl from my church on the youth hunt Matt Anthony donated to the NY auction and man did she have a great time. She was able to harvest her first ever buck and he certainly was a nice buck for anyones first buck. Matt also allowed her to harvest a doe as well and she was just overwhelmed. Matt certainly outdid himself and I for one appriciate it as did Megan. Matt was by Megans side the whole time and I, well lets just say I was the dog, LOL. I will tell those who have never hunted in a high fenced area to come along with me and I will show them just how uneasy it really can be. We scored the buck and he went 124 2/8", not bad at all. The weather was nice and cool for the strat but it did get to a comfortable 50's by mid day. We seen lots of nice deer at Matts place and I am even going back for a doe hunt next month and who knows, maybe a buck if the price is right. As part of the hunt Matt donated he was going to supply gear for the youth kid but Megan already has some but what she did not have anymore since loosing it in the flood last year was a rifle so Matt graciously offered to get he one, now that was awesome and Megan was left almost speechless. After we left and Megan calmed down she wanted to call Matt to say thank you properly since she was in shock over the events of the day and then the rifle to top it all off. I give Matt credit for his word, great hunt and experience and for his caring for kids, it was just a great filled day. I took a few photos and I hope you enjoy them as I did taking them. Again, AWESOME job Matt.
