I was just wondering if any one else was thinking this? Why is the price of semen still so high and the price of actual deer (does) has dropped??? Why would I spend the money on semen when I can buy a doe cheaper, Yes you get the put the semen in any doe you want. Correct me if I am wrong Maxbo semen is $10,000 off the farm but there are thousand of maxbo does out there... How bout bucks like Bucky Jr you spend $6000 on his semen and you put it into couple does and hope to make your money back and your only disappointed when the offspring of his does not bring the money you want.... So why should I invest into high priced semen is it worth it????? Hmmmmm....

To me it all depends on the mom and grandma of the doe! I think 6k dollar semen can make a very good return! The doe must be loaded top to bottom not just another maxbo doe!
