Problem with Fox!!

Has anyone ever had a Fox eat the Deer feed? My boy saw one last night eating one of the Apples I put in Deer pen. Now Im wondering if hes been eating their feed. Should I trap and relocate or shoot it? Thanks

A fox will eat the fawns while they are in the hider mode. We lost some that way. Found out the fox were doing it when the female cleaned out her den. That was the end of my love for fox. Killed 32 the first year.

Thanks for the replies. I have a friend thats gonna take care of my problem today. Ive only seen one so far but I want it gone!

You are in Montana....have you noticed any decrease in coyote population with the reintroduction of wolves a while back? I know lower coyote populations can lead to increased fox population as the wolves keep the coyotes in check which relieves the pressure off the foxes....so I have been told.

I have some land in northern Idaho that is why I am asking....thanks!

Yes coyotes do keep the fox in check and wolves will kill coyote. But the coyotes don't kill enough of them. We got three fox this last week.
