What line, or even more specifically what sire would you breed to for pure inches? If a guy want pure inches, who should he breed to?

Gotta say free agent on this one. From what he has done just on marks farm is pretty unbelievable. Blockbusters twin was over 520 @ 2

Gee I'd think one would have to consider Rolex here too ! Look at X Factor 589. Energizer 596 (Rolex doe) Spyder well over 400 . Fear Factor over 400 and could hit 500 this next year . Rigid is a Rolex who sired Big Rig who's over 600 . Blue duck is growing big he's a Rolex too ! Rolls Royce is over 400 , Rolex son as well ! Thats just the ones I can think of right off hand . Highroller has made some big ol boys too !

Maxbo Xl, Typhoon and Lakota all share the same anchor doe Tex 33. They are huge bone pushers. Consider the new SCI Panel World Record Busting Loose (High Roller Son) with over 100 points and score of 612.

Xl, free agent rolex..rolex is the father to the world record in big rig and he is probably the best producer of all time. .he has produced more inches than any buck

Great thread todd when you put 800$ a ton feed in those bucks inches better come out thx jerry stafford and yes scott i like your s c i panel score playing field gets level great job

My best producing doe without a doubt is a direct daughter of Rolex.....and she produces lots of inches on her buck fawns....so I couldn't agree more with Rolex........

The list is impressive no doubt! And yes Highroller has to be given credit for fathering Rolex and many more. Sundance made one heck of a contribution to the industry.

I, too, agree with Rolex as being a top sire. Also on the list would include: Shadow, Energizer, Free Agent, Highroller, Sudden Impact, and Reno. Look at all the big, wide bucks that have Reno in the bottom side of their pedigree. Reno does are major producers and need more credit.

I agree with reno..sudden impact and energizer not so much..anyone know of big sons out of either?? I havent seen the production yet

Sudden Impact has a pile of big sons. Check the Flees farm. Not sure on Energizer.

Not sure if Moonshine made 300 Mike. Maybe Dustin could clear that up. Even if not he is still big.

He made 309 at 2. Dustin sent me a pile of picks of his boys. Moonshine has it goin on. He has a Slingshot son that is just awesome!

I would think Rolex has to be on top, Maxbo XL and am sure there are several others. Time will tell but Texas Tea has to be a up and comer with all the monster yearling's he had last year some of them will be interisting 2 year old's.

Thank you cola blanca for finally throwing Pa Geronimo in the list I was wondering how long that would take.

Dan

Heck there are allot of great bucks that have made some even greater son's , but I was assuming when Todd started this thread he meant bucks who could push huge antler sizes and scores thus I'd go with Rolex . Many many bucks have made great contibutions to the whitetail industry Bucky has done well ,Maxo XL. Maxbo himself has added lots of value to the deer indutry not to mention his sire the record setting Max with semen and offspring value ! Lots of great animals out of PA Geronimo offspring. Time will tell but as far as antler pushing size and large scores I'd still say Rolex , then Highroller and Maxbo XL

Hey Mike you were close but you're giving him a little more credit then he actually deserves, he was only 302" @ 2 this year scoring conservatively BC. I know I didn't advertise him much but it doesn't seem like people care about 300" bucks anymore unless they're yearlings! Here's hoping he makes another big jump to 3 years old just like his daddy did, then I might be forced to pass his picture around a little bit more!!!
