I have decided to switch my fawns from formula to red cap this year, particularly because I have heard so many good things about it. The problem is that I'm buying it at retail price from the grocery store, and I would like to get it whole (unpasturized) from a dairy farmer. I don't have any that I know of locally, the two I have approached claimed they were under contract and were not allowed to sell it - even for animal use - to the general public. Can someone tell me if they know of any dairy farmers in the Pocono Mountain region of Pennsylvania that is selling milk, and if so, what is the cost per gallon. I am paying almost 4 per gallon now, plus travel daily to and from the store. It's becoming quite a pain!
