Does any one know where to get shade cloth for fence 8ft x ? that is reasonable priced need at least 800 ft long. Need for privacy along front hwy. To discourage dog, people etc...Thanks

i just bought some from harps tarps in georgia was by far the cheapest even with shipping. speek to john when you call

I got mine from Henry Martin. A word of caution: You will need some really well built fence to deal with the wind. The first time I put this up it was a disaster. The wind destroyed the fence I used it on. Henry can give you some tips on installation.

I have seen where some farmers split the shade cloth 4 ft top then 4ft bottom not fastening the bottom of either so the winds blows the tarps drift up with no resistant only promblem is my fences run east and west putting the fence with north and south winds pushing against the fence not sure which side to put the tarps inside fence or out side. So we're thinking about putting top 4ft tarp outside and bottom 4ft tarp inside. Has anyone tried this before.

I have not seen that and to be honest not sure it would make any differance. Cutting wind flaps is the best thing to do to assure you have a release for the air flow. Also leaving the cloth about 9" to 12" off the ground is needed. Call me to discuss, I have a great special right now.
