Alot of bucks have probley dropped by now and a few still packin. Lets see your bucks sheds from this year....

I am still waiting for the first set to fall, mid February is always peak time for me every year, so about 2-3 weeks they'll be falling.

as of today I have a half rack yearling...also got a trail cam pic of a wild spike that shows he dropped both sides one day apart this week. the weather has went from the mild 40 degree temps of last week, to about 15-20 degrees with strong wind gusts and a little snow this weekend.

I have had a few button bucks shed but my older bucks loose their racks the middle of march to the middle of April. Is there anything that can be done to help them drop their antlers sooner.

ER-I've been meaning to try this: don't feed them for a day and let them get hungry enough that they're waiting on you; I did this once by accident on two bucks and they both dropped the same week, but don't know if it was coindicence or not.

They will drop when they are ready plain and simple. You can manipulate them and get them to drop, but they will drop when it's time ................every buck is different. I can tell you from my experience older bucks seem to drop thiers first.

We have three that shed already. Our oldest buck always sheds his first. They are all definitely different. Our 2nd oldest sheds his last, usually in mid-April.

At this time of year, there are few fresh pictures to look at...where are the pictures of all these sheds??

Thats what I was wonderin lets see what sheds your bucks have dropped so far...

I only have one buck with antlers. He is a 10 pt year and a half old named Aslan. He lost his buttons last year on January 28. So far this year he is still holding on to them. Question for all of you. How much change do you see in antler development from year to year. As I said Aslan has a nice 10 point rack. but they are very narrow with the tips almost touching. Is there any hope for the future and a wider spread?

Here are some pictures of our buck RAWHIDE. He shed out yesterday lost both sides about 5' apart:)

Shedfreak88, Thought you might like this one. The antler on the right in the photo is RAWHIDE and the one in the photo on the left is a wild buck they call the Kansas King so if you are familiar with who and what he looks like and scores. You can get an idea of how RAWHIDE matches up to him.

I'm very familiar with the Kansas King giant buck. RAWHIDE is a stud. Wish I had a set of horns like that haha. Awesome pics man you have some sweet bucks.
