David, I sent 4 to everyone who bought 3 to show my appreciation for your and their business. I would like to see everyone who uses Scooter in their AI program do as well as we did with him. He put really nice looking frames on most of his sons. Not super wide but always good looking frames. His widest was 20 6/8" inside. The buck pictured above is a son of Scooter. His daughters are such healthy looking mothers, they are tall, big bodied and by looking at them, you would not suspect they were raising fawns.
Jeff Cawhorn,
Slate and Jesse James are doing fine. Only thing though, Slate did not grow out normal on his right side this year, it came out normal to the brow then after the brow the beam grew grew about 10" more then stopped, his good side is a 5 point, both brows though are 8 or 9 inches long and split. He injured a front leg back in late February when he was put back in with the rest of the bucks. He still walks with a slight limp. I plan to put 3 does with him again this year, I really like his clean look.
Jesse James is fine, his antler growth is not normal on the right side either, when he shed last winter, a good sized chunk of skull plate came with it, and as usual when that happens, most of the time the growth for that year will be screwed up. He will breed again this year. Thanks for the concern, Jeff
