I am going to TB test for the first time and I would like to give my deer some shots for their yearly vaccination and overall health. I have never done this before and would like to get some opinions on what all of the deer farmers are using for medications for anything from yearly vaccines to sick animals. List them out in bulleted format.

Also, can I use a pour-on called Cydectin that I can buy at Fleet Farm?

e.g.

Yearly vaccination:

(medicine name) cc's/lbs subq or I.M.

Sick animal:

Pnuemonia (Draxxin) 3cc's/100lbs subq or I.M.

Fawns first shots:

shots for does bred and unbred:

LC, If you do a search on the Health and Wellness forum (see tab at top right of page), you will find many good "threads" or "hits" on this topic. The farmers/vets/experts have advised on this topic MANY TIMES. You might not get all the answers again from people who I suspect are beginning to be very busy this time of year.

Here is one "hit" I think will apply to your question which I got after searching on the word "vaccinations". You can try others like "shots" or "starting up operations" or "schedule of vaccines," etc. It's super easy to search and very straight forward- this forum has an excellent search engine and set up. Good luck! Do well with your deer babies!
