I have lost 2 adult deer this year to the same symptoms and have a 3rd showing signs of the same ailment. The animal begins to become lethargic, just not acting like its normal self. Continues to come up to eat and drink but doesn't have any energy. I've noticed in all 3 animals you can actually hear their stomach churning/ gurgling from up to 20 ft. away. The animal over several weeks will lose all body weight and eventually die. The animals will continue to eat and drink every day even up to death. One that has already died had oak leafs in its mouth upon death. Any thoughts or past experience??
