This morning we noticed one of our 10 week old doe fawns walking to the feeder with her head down. She has been looking a little off for a couple of days. She was walking slowly but didn't seem able or interested in raising her head. We checked her a couple of hours later and she was flat on her side with her head on the ground. I gave her Exceed, Draxxin, and Banamine along with some B12. I was able to pick her up without resistance and move her to another pen. An hour or so later she was standing, moved off about 10 yards and laid down again. Has anyone had these symptoms before? She didn't have any sores in or around her mouth and she looks ok other than this.

Has your weather been changing?

Has she had a hard time breathing or has she been coughing?

I am running out the door maybe someone can help....

Best of luck

I'll be back soon

She does not seem to have any breathing problems, no coughing, or discharge at the nose. She has moved again but was just laying on her side.

No significant change, gave her some IV sub Q to try to keep her hydrated. Also some probios. She had moved and was bright eyed but not moving.

BC you used some powerful antibiotics which would cover most but don`t over look the possiblty of CD & T. It doesn`t show many signs. It just kills quickly !!! I would follow with C&D antitoxins and pennicillin just to make sure you cover that base. Many fawns are lost in that age group with very few signs. Just my 2 cents
