I had a 7 month old doe and it died Saturday morning but friday morning when I went to feed it it was eating great and running around but I went back out there that afternoon and it was being very slow didn't wanna play didn't wanna eat so we tried to give her a shot and she had a heart attake we brought her in the house got her back going and she couldn't walk had no balance was always stumbling she got better though out the night though but the next day the vet tried to give her a LA 200 shot and she had a heart attake and died for we would ever give her a shot she was hoping around like a fish outta water does any one have a idea what caused her to act like that do u think she had a disease of something..

Sounds like she may have injured herself. Possibly a head or neck injury. The stumbling makes me think of a thiamine defiency. When a deer has that type of injury the thiamine in their body goes to that site causing the defiency in the rest of the body. I don't think she had a disease, it hit her too quickly. I think it was an injury. I am very sorry for your loss.

I don't think there is any way of knowing for sure. Sounds like you did everything you could do. Don't beat yourself up about it. We have lost animals and never really knew why. And it sure hurts for a while.
