Are silage bails good for deer, for instance containing alfalfa? What about regular silage bails...if such a thing. I don't know much about these. I belong to a private hunting club in PA. They were putting some of these alfalfa bails out through the winter months. Also we have several drilling sites and what would be a good crop to put down for plots at these sites when they are done drilling? We have deer, turkey, and bear. Thanks for any help!

Siilage bails are good in the winter while cool out but tend to go bad in summer do to warm weather and not being ate fast enouf.

Just buy some food plot mix and plant around gas well sites be sure to have soil tested fertilize and lime as needed or as the seed mix calls for. Hope this helps.
