Skinned up doe

Hi. At feeding time this am I found a doe, which I hope is pregnant, a little scraped up. I came home this evening and she looks like she went through a lawn mower. (Scraped up) she is in pain. Tame but not like my other ones. What should I look for her in order to dart her with any antibiotics or anything?

Also, will or was it my other does that beat her up the 2nd time. 1st time was a dog chasing them around the pen.

Unless you got rid of the dog I would bet it came back, Had same problem, Depending how bad the scrapes are , Ive had other does lick the wounds of others which quickly healed, I don't like to mess with pregnant does unless Its really bad, but it depends on your situation, Sorry to hear this.

for scrapes I wouldn't give her any antibiotics or meds right now.

I would, for sure, watch for the dog(s) to return. Do you know where the dogs came from or who owns them?

I would treat the abrasions/cuts topically with a Betadiene solution. Apply it with a water pistol or squirt bottle if she is not petable.
