I have a buck fawn that is sneezing and really itching his nose alot the last few days. Doesn't have me overly worried as he is still eating fine, but being new to all this is this cause for concern?

Since it has gone on for a couple of days it could be Nasal bots. Is there any discharge coming from the nasal cavity. I have not had this problem but talked to someone who has. The Vet told them to worm with Valbazen triple dose. Within a day there deer discharged a large wad of dead bot larve. This is second hand info so I would suggest asking a vet. I looked it up and read where the itching will only last about three days and then the larve hatch out and will go into the ground.

I have a doe that has been doing same thing for last 4-5 days, and now it is gone. Same thing, I wasn't worried much as she was acting normal except for sneezing and itching nose. I thought maybe she got stung by a bee at first, but after 2-3 days thought that should be gone. I will talk to my vet about whether I should still worm now that it is gone. Thanks so much for the info.

Yep, I agree it is fly botts. It has been a bad year in our area for that this year and a friend of mine even has it in his fawns this year.
