I was gonna put some limestone down around my feeders and troughs. Which would be better?
Stone dust or 1B's?

Just getting started what does the fabric do under the stone? Another question , ive got 6 bred does coming in this late fall , not from one farm that I wish I would've now after reading one farm is better but is to late is there any shots I should give them upon arrival thx Mark

Good idea with the carpet and shade cloth. I have a bunch of landscape fabric I will use. Thanks for the posts. Will 1bs be too big?

I don't know about the carpet.... once it gets wet, the backing of the carpet falls apart creating a problem for the deer if they eat it... Alot of dyes and chemicals in carpet. Also the ground wouldn't dry out very quick after rain and moisture in the mornings promoting growth of of stuff I don't want in my pens...just my opinion... I install carpet for a living..

If I do modified around the feeders and 1bs by the troughs? Modified won't be to hard in their hooves will it?
