What ever it was ,i think it a meat eater ,found where it drug something up on log and ate, was on remote area of oolagah lake. game warden had no clue,

If you get a bag and go out in the woods...You gotta be real quite... sit right on that log...In about an hour he'll smell that bag and run right in...Close it real quick...an hit him with a stick...Take him out before he takes you out...

DC my guess is a beaver...
I had them in my pens bad few years back. They don't always leave a great track sometimes you can see a tail drag...some times they look like they are missing toes...Your picture does both...Do you have trees with chew marks?
They can be many sizes...They took one out of my place that was 65 lbs.

After looking into animals in your area Nutria would get my vote looks just like a beaver hence the feet looking the same ...And...They eat meat.
