Help quick

I know the bottle says after the Telazol is mix it is only good for 2 weeks.

Has anyone used it after the 2 weeks and what was the results

Thank you

When I first got into deer farming I once left one mixed bottle in my equipment box, I didn't know I should throw it away after two weeks, it sat for a full year at room temp. I didnt know better at the time and i used it and it still worked great, maybe I just got lucky. Now when I mix it I will freeze it and thaw it when needed. I usually never go more than 2 full months without needing to put a deer down for some reason.

Use it- no worries. I've frozen it, refrigerated it and left it at room temp- no problems.

I just used some that was mixed October 2011 (frozen) and it still worked. I think that the potency of it was not as good. It seemed to take a little bit longer to take effect.

After you use what you need of a new bottle take the rest and put it in syringes according to your normal dosage Freeze syringes that way you can unfreeze what you need.

Just a suggestion works good for me.

For what it's worth: we never freeze it anymore. If I think it's going to sit around a while, I stick it in the fridge. If I figure on using it within a month or so, I don't even refrigerate it.

Plastic denatures the diazepalm in the mix very quickly. Store it in glass, not plastic.
