What does everyone use for putting a straw of semen in for splitting and keeping it warm in the thaw unit?

1. what temp. on the water?
2. what is used for the extender (egg white)?
3. if egg white ,does it have to be fresh . or can eggs from the store work.

As cheap as extender is I would not try to make my own. You can get it from Minitube of America. I used Equipro ApX2
