I have arranged a house and dog sitter, and I have another good friend setup to do my herd checks and feeding each day. Laurie has taken vacation time. The bags are packed. We are set. See ya all there!

Not going to be there - we have a hunting show we do that weekend. Always conflicts between breeding events and hunting events.
We'll be down at the Midwest sale in Shipshewanna later in the month though.

There will be a handful of items to benefit NADeFA and the Illinois Deer Farmer Association, sold at the Thursday night dinner. You must preorder your tickets so the hotel has a hard count on the number of meals, 217-789-1530 ext 4511. The dinner is a great place to get together and visit after the sale.

On another note-and this isn't the right thread to put this, but can't find the one I'm looking for...I owe an apology to Kevin Grace and his staff-last week I jokingly said that I was apparently on the "does not buy at my auction" list. What had happened was I moved two years ago and got last year's auction booklet just fine at the new house so I figured they got my new address, when what really happened was that the USP Service gave me a one-year grace period and I got the last one forwarded to me. I called Rose and she got me one right away.
