Triple Strength Xylazine - Dosage

The triple strength Xylazine is 333mg/ ml. I have used it before at a ratio of 4ml of 333mg/ml Xylazine to a bottle of Telazol. I used this on does, I found that with bucks as they got closer to rut the amount of Telazol would need to be increased. 333mg of Xylazine is usually more than adequate for most adult deer. If you mix 5ml of sterile water to a bottle of Telazol it will be mixed at a ratio of 50mg/ml. When I had to know down a big buck towards the end of October or start of September I would usually add 0.5ml of the sterile water mixture to a 1.5cc dart. This would give me a mix of 333mg of Xylazine and 75mg of Telazol. This seemed to work for sedation. This was just my experience with it however, I think others may use it a bit differently.

I use three pretty simple mixtures.

Tame 8:1

Mild 6:1

Wild 4:1

you shouldnt really ever need any stronger than 4:1. if a wild one wont go down the first time with that then hit them a second time. if they still dont go down... id sell it. haha. If the deer get running a lot though and the adrenaline kicks in.. theyll never go down, if you need to get two or three, get them all within a few minutes of eachother. it helps a lot.
