I love that Quest buck. I know I told you last year, but im saying it again. You need to sell him to me cause he has got to be eating too much of your feed!
I like Quest too! and he is for sale. Don't get me wrong I am breeding with non typical's. Big, Bad A$$ bone hogs. I just wanted to see some really clean deer. I know they are not going to score a bunch, most under 200. That is what I'm looking for.
Right on Foodplot! The guys with typicals like typicals...until they have a big non-typical...the guys with non-typicals like non-typicals until they have a big typical. Funny how that happens
This is one of my big typicals: DoubleWide 223" with 31" i.s. Not an inch of trash on his frame last year except for his brows....and this was as a 4 yr old which even most typicals will start getting a little trashy at this age. I have a lot of ShockNAwe (owned his mother) and Rambo bucks/does on the property. My oldest Rambo's are 2 this year. I look forward to seeing how they progress. It's just so hard finding BIG+YOUNG typicals that have any size at a young age. These bucks we call "typical" at 2 are nowhere's close to being a typical at 3. Saying that, my biggest clean typical last year, HIJACK, is looking like he might hold to that "typical" status. He is looking super. Anyone is always welcome to call me to talk about my deer, come for a visit or inquiry about semen.
This 2 yr old looks like he's staying pretty clean as a 3 yr old. Will try and get some new pictures taken...he likes to hide in the grass or bugger off when he sees me.
Here's actually womb brothers... as different as can be. I've gotten a pretty good look at the "typical" one this year and he looks on track to stay pretty clean again this year. Time will tell since we are so FAR BEHIND the rest of the country again this year. IronMan's G4s grow at an angle and hard to see on the left side but is a true 5x5.
