Vaccination Chart

Hello Everyone!

I'm hoping everyone had a solid year of antler growth and another great year of fawns! I had a quick question in regards to vaccinations. Has anyone ever put together a chart of all drugs/medications? I know there are a lot of them but I think it would be useful to have a spreadsheet listing drug, weight, dosage and treatment?

This is what I do for fawns.

Week old we give both Josh newtons shots.

One month old we give Josh Newton shots, worm with ivermic, and give type A

Two month old we give Josh Newton shots, worm with ivermic and give type A

About once a month we will put wormer on the grain. We use Valbazen till the first freeze.

Josh shots have all the problems I have covered in his shots so this works for me. This program couldn't be done on a farm not able to manage their fawns.

Wow. That is a bunch. We were doing several shots for each fawn, C&D, Bo-Se, Fusogard, Calf Guard Roto - virus, Bovine ecolizer C+20. And we still lost a few . A friend told me of another method. We tried it last year and never lost a fawn out of 37 fawns born. Now all we do is 5-10 ml of Optimizer paste orally and 1/2 ml of Bo-Se intramuscular. NO issues at all last year. That Optimizer stuff has all they need in it to replace all those shots. I hope it works just as well this year.

We give them 5 to 10 ml orally within 12 to 24 hours of birth.
