New to this, So if I’m doing this wrong I’m sorry. I have a rescued fawn, Momma got hit by a car and didn’t make it, not sure on age, still has spots and few teeth on bottom so guessing maybe 4,5 weeks. Poor thing is having seizures, foaming out the mouth, convulsions etc. Could it be Clostridium? If so what meds do I need, where do I get it, and how much do I give, how often etc? I’ve never had a baby deer this young and sick before so new to this. I really appreciate the help.

Try to locate wild life rehab or vet who works with a rehab/wildlife. Seizures could be what your are feed her (formula preserved with animal fat blocks absorption) or you could not be feeding her enough. Look at kid (goat) information they are similar. Also look into bovi sera it helps improve the immune system

How’s the little Fawn doing ? You could also do a fortified vitamin B complex injection. You can get it at a feed store or tractor supply (?). 3cc under the skin and try to put maybe .5 cc on her/his gums- make sure she/he does not aspirate it.

Did you ever find a resolution to this issue or what it was? I have a wild baby doing the same thing. None of the agencies want her and I’m really trying to help her.
