Vet Recommendations Lumpy Jaw Treatment

Hi All
I live in SWFL and I have a year and a half old buck that has been bottle-fed and his tame.

He has a lump on his jaw under his eye that I strongly believe is fuso - my problem is I can't get a vet out to my area that will prescribe Draxxin until July 10.

The lump is half the size of a golf ball, hard in nature, and when I tried to Lance the only small soft spot, only a little bit of blood came out.

I don't have any Nuflor Gold or Draxxin - can anybody recommend a vet in SW Florida, or can anyone recommend any other types of anabiotic's I could get to help this little guy. I raised him since he was born, and i'm really worried I'm not gonna be able to get the right meds in time. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Your right most are Fuso bacteria. By July 10 the lump will have broken open by itself as that is how nature works.
If you would push into the harder area it more than likely would have penetrated the abscess and you would have been able to expel most of the puss. If you try again flush with iodine.
Pen would be worthless for this. Draxxin or Zactran would work good to help clean it up from the body.

I only treat to move the problem along faster. When the puss pocket fills to the big size it will kill the skin which will allow a hole to be made which will allow the puss to leave. So no you don't have to lance it but I would still give a shot of Draxxin.
