Hello everyone:

Looking for a cost effective method for heating my water troughs. No electricity right now. I want to do something temporary until I can run electric. Can someone point me in the right direction.

Thank you in advance.

Thanks Ezra!!! I just called mark there and he answered all my questions they look great! He said they have been selling them to the Omish and they work for deer so I will get my two 25 gal. Tanks in about 10days . He said they have been workin 12 hour days 6 days a week and they are made in the U.S.A!!! Even sweeter!!!! Give Mark a call and tell him you seen it here and he will work with you on the price!!! No more ICE CHUNKS in the pen!!! I can't wait! Thanks again Ezra! Charlie .

NICE SITE , but how much water do i need ???? or how many deer will a 25 gal tank water in the summer /winter say if its filled once a day ?? some one must know how much water a deer needs per day winter and summer

Mine drink way more in the summer than winter but I'm tired of haulin water and ice chunks. But if they drink 1 gal. Per day I would be surprised! Charlie

It ran me 457 + 67$ in shipping. But if I run elec. I have to go 1500 feet of heavy wire and have to run the heaters so I will try these two out first. Charlie

Charlie,

Hows that water tank working for you?

Thanks Mike

Hi Mike... The tanks work great, we have had some single digit nights and they do not freeze!! My other open tanks froze! It takes a little time to get them to push the float down but they do. I think in the summer I will freeze milk jugs of water and in hot weather put one a day in the tank! Cold fresh water! I think that will take some stress off everybody mainly the bucks when they are growing out new racks! Thanks for asking! Charlie .
