We all have seen what Rolex and Shadow and Maxbo have done but what if you already have a direct daughter out of one of these, what then? I am asking for your suggestions. I know you want to pick a sire with proven pass down and popular demand for marketability. Ok I'll Give You a pedigree to work with::D

Jason, I would go with Hardcore. Great typical frame with all the extras. It will also combine what I feel is two of the greatest does. Superdoe and Blue 37. The addition of Sunny sure won't hurt anything. GOOD LUCK...
 
I second that Michael on Hardcore, but would add as a second choice as a personal choice I would consider Martygraw or Maxbo for the pass down traits that you now see in their sons, not to mention that their sons hold a good portion of the bucks that are in demand in todays market.
 
Somehow in the back of my mind I knew that Hardcore would be the first mentioned! Not only was he a big deer last year , he is even prettier this year. His semen is sold out till 2010 and if you have some its like Maxbo Ranger was last year, ridiculous in price! So it looks like I'm heading to the same corner I was just in. I have so much maxbo on maxbo blood its time for a new direction. I'm not bashing , just saying that it seems like that's the way the breedings have been going lately.
 
Jason, just how much of that cross do yo want to get rid of? We have several ourselves and a few more wouldn't hurt. We were luck to buy 5 Hardcore straws this year before he was sold out. Maybe you should think of going with Big Guy or Prime Time. Those boys sure have the look and the Flees/ Maxbo crosses have worked well for years. Good luck
 
Hey now, might just be interested in a straw of that hardcore if n you wanted to sell one , it would go for a good cause! Good ol farm use only!
 
Hey Roger, nice buck. I seen the pics you posted . He definitely has that frame I'm lookin for! I only have two pure flees does to date . One I bought at Nadefa this year, it was a Sudden Impact daughter on a Harry/Cutie dam! The other was a W116 daughter over a G36/Lil Pebbles dam ,I got from Bryan Brumfield! Got to figure out somethimg to put in those girls too! I just purchased a couple of deer for breeding/AI backup. One is a buck called "Toxic Shock" a three year old we purchased from Harry Strawser, and a Rolex three year old we bought from Nathan Blosser. Naming him is up in the air!!! I should have pictures of him to post for tomorrow! I might want to swap straw of one for straw of updraft if interested! There has never been any semen drawn on either one and I think both will be better than 275"+ @3 (see my post Deer Creek Whitetails) for pics. Jason
