Todd, that REALLY does take some time to prove! The buck has to have a daughter, she has to have a son, and he has to grow up!
Timberjack is really starting to prove himself to us. We have a great crop of coming yearlings and a few coming 2 year olds. Here is one that looks promising.
We don’t have many older bucks yet out of does sired by Timberjack. I can’t wait to see what they look like!
But here are a couple of examples off the farm.
1. The Flees Free Agent Yearling Razor (293 @1) is from a Timberjack doe. Its the highest scoring yearling ever raised on the Flees Farm! They have some REALLY good other bucks out of their Timberjack does!
2. The yearling Mannix (pictured) below from Dakota Whitetails is from a Timberjack doe! He is one of the widest yearlings I've ever heard of! And he scored over 240 @ 1! Dakota Whitetails will confirm the power of Timberjack.
3. Russ Belar's Gold Dust which is over 500 at 3 is from a Timberjack doe.
There are probably many others out there. Since Timberjack is 8, there probably are not many over 2-3 years of age. If you have some (or even big Timberjack direct son’s), I’d really like to see them.
