What do you do with the......RUT.....?

Was just wondering what everyone does with the RUT the deer create around the fences and what you all have done to deal with it. And if you have had any succsess with it ?

I used shade cloth up on my small temporary bottlefeeding pen because the one was wearing a rut into the ground, seemed to help because she couldnt see outside.

Gravel, gravel and more gravel....

I throw bunches of rock that are laying around in my pen into the rut.This also helps to keep toenails from getting to long as it wears them down like sand paper.

gravel works for rut and toe nails i put at all feeders. they gonna pace back back and forth. never tried shade cloth DC
