Congrats for still having a job at GM. Our town USED to be one of the largest GM employed towns in the nation, with over 25,000 employed. Today there is not 1 factory left and zero employees.

you should thank the big oil companies for the price of gas, they are the ones over producing by fracking. the usa is now the worlds largest oil producer, followed by saudi arabia. history has a way of judgeing political leaders , usually several years after they leave office. i for one think congress is the one responsible for the leadership or lack there of, in this country. just my opinion. still the best place in the world to live!

Yes and he has helped with the gun laws in Ny state with the support of the Safe Act. Its never going to be peaches and cream with anybody in the white house and i decided years ago that i will do whatever i think is best for me and my family. Laws or no laws. Nobody is above the law but i will take my chances when it comes to have anything to do with me or my family.

We are the now the number one oil producer in the world because of shale oil extraction. Democrats have done everything to impede oil companies from getting to this resource. Have you ever heard of the Keystone Pipeline? Ever heard of PETA or the HSUS donating money or resources to a republican? Ever heard of Patty Kline? Democrats policies and over regulation are hurting businesses including the deer industry. We fight mostly liberal democrats in every state. Can you imagine the brave commander and chief Barak Hussein Obama kneeling to pray on the banks of the Potomac River before wading across the icy waters to attack the Hessian soldiers for taxation without representation. The American peoples spirit and our hard work have survived in spite of Hussein's policies. He is going to be a lame duck in a week. Then we and our children, our grandchildren and great grandchildren will have to began to pay back the debt our rent-a-center president has run up. All the quantum easing(printing money to bail out the banks and Wallstreet) will cause a massive inflation rise in the near future. This money wasn't earned or real. Hussein printed it. We will survive because our founding fathers drew up a great document that protects us from him and he hates it. He swore to uphold it then blatantly lied and made illegals legal. We will survive because the American people put a halt to his policies this last election. Our industry leaders need to grow a set and not be afraid of being partisan politically.

Th national debt is at an all time high. The economy is picking up but it is because of lower gas prices. Lower gas prices are the result of places like North Dakota allowing the oil companies to go full tilt. Gas prices affect nearly everything, even new car sales!!! Take that nitwit governor of NY who wants to ban fracking in his state - if I were a landowner with oil that could be reached by fracking and he banned it I would be pretty PO'd!! It would be a taking in my mind!


The US is now viewed by the rest of the world in the worst light ever. We look like incompetent fools on the world stage with Syria, ISIS And the incident at Benghazi. It is embarrassing! He is all over TV when a black thug gets killed resisting arrest, but when Chris Kyle, the most lethal sniper in history and a true patriot is killed, not a word!!! He is in way over his head! This country is being run by a bunch of Chicago mafia and I don't trust them any further than I could throw them.


Yes, Congress is to blame for some of the past years inaction and divisiveness, but if we had a true respected leader in the White House, he would have lead them to compromise and action. He has a hands off approach and it doesn't work. He thinks it is beneath him to get involved - really????

The reason gas prices are low is because OPEC is trying to push us into a recession!  People loosing their jobs in the oil and gas industry making 100 - 400k a year are the ones that foot the bill for all the freeloaders.  The more you hurt those guys the more strain is put on everyone else and the more our national debt rises.  Yes, I work in the O&G industry and 60% of my office has already been cut and the company I work for plans on cutting $200,000,000 in salaries this year based on today's price.  If it goes lower that number will increase. All the big oil companies are laying down rigs and people are loosing their jobs already.  Regardless what anyone wants to believe higher gas prices are better for the economy than lower.  It may stimulate small businesses for a few months maybe a year but it will push the economy backwards if it doesn't go back up.  Also the big oil companies make less per gallon of gas than the federal government so why hate on the successful companies?  Look back over history and look what has happened to the economy EVERY time oil prices have gone down.  Thank Obama for increasing the welfare state of this nation, higher national debt, less freedoms, higher taxes, more restrictions on small businesses, refusal to allow the keystone pipeline so we can charge Canada for exporting their oil,  increased energy costs, shutting down the Gulf of Mexico from oil and gas exploration while giving millions to Brazil to help them explore more oil and gas fields, encouraging us to be more tolerant of Muslims, race bating the nation to a point where race violence is higher than it has been in decades, allowing ISIS to take control of most of Iraq and doing a bare minimum to fight terrorism.  Yeah, thank him if you like an overall higher cost of living and more dangerous country to live in....... Personally I think he has done more harm than any terrorist in the history of the United States.

It is impressive that INSPiTE of Obama and his administration that we have done as well as we have. Once he is out we have a long way to go to get back to a "good life"

While price for gas are low here, oil companies will end up exporting a lot of the oil to other countries where prices are higher. Eventually it will push prices up here.

Oil is priced globally. Truth is right about the oil price getting to low. Oil was way too high before but opec was controlling the price. Now that shale oil is coming online, there is an oversupply which is causing the price to go down. The oil in the middle east is easier to get and cheaper. They have had us bent over a barrel for years. Now with the shale oil they are not the big dogs anymore.

The problem is, to make it profitable to extract shale oil, the oil companies need oil around $80 dollars a barrel. That gives us a gas price around 2.50 per gallon. We need shale oil even if it takes $3.00 gas. We need the security of our on oil, the jobs it produces and the royalties it pays. The royalties tax that will be paid is the only way to get this country out of the debt Obama has racked up. It is our silver bullet for financial security in this country. There is an estimated $20 trillion in royalties tax already discovered.

The best part is if the price stays high enough to drill but low enough to keep gas prices down the Middle East will not have the money to fund the terrorist. We need a happy medium on oil prices of about $80 a barrel.

Before someone gets excited, I want to say I do not work in the oil industry. I am an accountant in the steel industry, so I am not looking at this from my personal point of well being. I want to see this country debt free inspite of Obama and us all prosper.

The other thing we need to do is use the abundance of natural gas we have. This is a game changer for the U.S. it will attract manufacturing worldwide to the U.S. we need to forget about alternative fuels and use what we have in plentiful supply. Industry will develop alternatives in time, not the government.

Our government under Obama and eric holder is dam near a police state!  corruption at every level! our freedoms are gone! our foreign policy is that of a cowards no guts! ronald reagan is rolling in his grave! wake up!! gas is down now cause obama is pissed at putin, where were these low prices when we still had some industry and jobs left!! as far as the deer industry here in pa its gotten almost ridiculous ! so much paper work and regulations! bucks bring money but doe prices are LOW ! feed prices are still high and people are getting out at a rapid pace! Im thrilled with the job obama is doing!!!!   NOT!!!!

 so this is the skinny I was on here around the presidential election and all here were blasting Obama and how he would tear down our deer farms.well let me tell you most if not all blasted him about everything including gas prices and jobs.well after years of cleaning up after the bushs things atre settling in.when gas price rose to 4 bucks a gallon it was obamas fault,now that prices have fallen no one has praised him.


  I am here to tell you that things are better now than 8 years ago.so just keep blasting the black man bigots.i for one enjoyed a fruitful time at my deer farm and obamas actions have not shut me down.


  I really like the lower prices of gas and would like to thank our president for fine years of service.

I had hoped the same thing but then I read this persons post under at the top. "Not good news from Ohio"

I've lost a lot of money due to his policies in relation to the oil and gas industry.  It took me 3 years to get back to where I was before he shut the Gulf of Mexico. I'm not going to throw out numbers but cut your income in half for 3 years and see how it feels.  What he did was unnecessary and cost a lot of people their livelihood.

Hard to believe that the price of gas is what makes you a good/bad President......seems to be more issues than that.  :wacko:
