Has anyone ever had a bottle fawn rip a prichard nipple off of the bottle and swollow it? I have a 10 week old fawn that ripped about 1 inch of a prichard nipple off last night and eat it before i could do anything about it, as of now she has ate every bottle offered to her and i have watched her poop both times she has ate. all of the nipples were brand new 3-4 weeks ago. she has been acting fine since but was curious if this had happened before and what i might expect. thanks

I've seen it happen on one of mine and three years later she shows no ill effect. I never saw her get rid of it. The only thing I can figure is it goes to the same place all my missing socks go ( you know you throw two socks in the wash and when your wife takes them out you only have one). I wouldn't worry.
