What to Feed?

Any DIY recipe's for deer feed? Looking to make my own, I'm thinking it would be a lot cheaper. I been feeding corn and sweet potatoes. I am asking because you guys on here must know how to grow, feed, & control diseases that wipe out wild deer. Any advice would be great. The midge fly wiped us out this year bad!!
