I work for the county and the budget won't allow for me to bottle feed all these late fawns on red cap milk. I need to know what formula through PBS Animal Health I can use with the least amount of problems. I have the Grade A Ultra here but my local wildlife rehaber said she thinks that gives the fawns scours quite often.....

Jersey winter blend Cowsmatch will provide close to the 30/30 fat protein that simulates doe milk. Landolakes replacer found at many ag feed mills.

This is the list of what pbsanimalhealth has to offer:

Sav A Lam

Super Kid Instant Milk Replacer

Sav A Kid

UniMilk

We have an account with this company...thats why I have to go through them.

What scour med should I have on hand?

With my late fawns, I put them in my alley and put a 3 foot plywood wall across the alley. The fawns can't jump out but the does can jump in. I bottle feed once a day and let the doe take care of the rest. Works for me. I only feed red cap to them but one bottle a day. Once they start jumping out I still give them a bottle to keep them coming but soon switch to treats.
