I am looking for some time of wormer that can be put in the water. Is there something like this out there? What do you use?

I use safegaurd pellets mixed in the feed from time to time I also use Ivermec Plus when I have one down and for the ones that will let me I will use Ivermec Pour on, but I would like to change it up a little so would like any info on wormer that can be put in the water.

Thanks

Randy,

I use Panacure, Safeguard (fenbendezol) or Ivermectin a few times per year in water. I take the appropriate amount, shake up in a pop bottle, pour in water (what will be consumed in 24 hours) and let them go. I try to dump water the night before so they will come in and consume it fast, and also I try to do it when no rain is in the forecast.

Randy you may wanta give levamesole a try !!! (sp ) it`s a little pricey but works well !!!

I just came from the vet, he suggested sheep drench, panacure or pelleted safegaurd, and to not use one type more than a couple times in a row for resistance reasons, he also said to put any kind of pour-on in the food or water was a waste of your money because once it hits the rumen in the deer it is sterilized so its doing absolutely no good,i hope this helps someone.
