Wind flaps

I put a bunch of "u" cut flaps in mine.....probably about a foot across.....wish could say it helped .......but my wind where I am is out of control so i am sure it will help you!!

we cut u shapes flaps the size of the squares of the fence about every 2 ft so it does not matter if the wind blows in different directions.

I to tried the U shaped flaps, but the deer figured it out and poke their heads through the hole (and wire). This causes damage to antlers when they are first starting to grow because they get caught when the deer pulls back. There for I patched the U cuts. Just my 2cents. Allen

They probly saw you doing it first. Actually your head is way to BIG!!!

We do the U shaped flaps the same size as the square hole in the wire fence and it works great, we do 2 and or 3 rows depending on west end east end and prevailing winds. We only have fabric on our parimeter fence and deer in the pens do not have acces to it, if my fabric were on the deer pens I would not cut these same U shapes as the deer will be able to chew on the edges.

I need to cut some wind flaps in my shade cloth. Whats size is everyone else putting in theres?

One thing when cutting your flaps and Rick has the best I have seen anywhere, try to keep the flap between your wire so it can open either way and close when it is not windy. Do not cross over any verticle wires or the flap will only open one way.
