Worming after breeding

Where are you getting a ivermic that you can mix with feed. At what kind of cost?
I am not happy with safe guard and ivomec rotation with our mule deer.

I just use ivomec pour on and spray it over the days feed. Figure our how many pounds of deer are in the pen and use the recommend amount of ivomec pour on for the deer weight in the pen. I always use a little more, about 1/4 more. Let the grain air dry in the sun and I feed it the next day. It is well accepted by the deer.
I'm afraid most worms are resistant to most of the wormers we now use. Mostly due to our not using enough of the wormer product when we worm our deer. Any worms that survive the worming become immune to that wormer. So pretty soon all the worms in that deer don't get any effect from that wormer.

I just bought some ivomec pour on and I was getting ready to put it on my feed but the bottle says not to use orally. Am I missing something. Thanks

I thought the same thing but sheep people said to use it that way as that is how they worm their sheep. I have done just that and did stool samples before and after. There were little to no worm eggs after using the pour on in that way so it did work. No animals were hurt doing it that way on my ranch. I do know oral does work the best on all worm species. It should as you are getting the wormer right where the worms are.
