Hello, I am new to this forum, so I hope what I am doing will work. I have a pasture that has both does and fawns in it. The fawns are a month and

a half old. Would it be safe for the fawns to use valbazen mixed in the feed?

If not, then what would you recommend? I would prefer a wormer that I could mix into the feed. I also use through out the year both ivomec injectable and pour-on. Any advise would be appreciated.

Thank you, Troy

At one month we worm all of our fawns with ivomec injectable.

To answer your question - Yes, Valbazen will work good if they eat it mixed on the feed. You won't get exact dosages as one doe or fawn may eat more than another but it would at least give you some coverage if you are not able to run them thru right now. Some folks like Safegaurd Pellets too. It is a good idea then to worm them with Ivomec Plus or Cydectin injectable when weaning.

I worm my bottles babies every month with Ivomec Injectable in their bottles and the fawns on the mothers do not get wormed until they are weaned.
