Had a client ask if there were any preserves in WY, deer/elk. I couldn't find any on the web so figured I would ask here, I know of a few in CO,UT and ID but not heard of any in WY?
I believe it is not legal in Wyoming to farm whitetails or elk .....but I think someone mentioned earlier they have the highest rate of CWD of any state !
I wonder if an 8' fence were around the state of Wyoming if they would be ostracized and quarantined like Rhonda's farm. Would they still be able to sell their irrigated hay from private properties where an animal is shot that test positive for CWD??? Would the state of Iowa let them raise irrigated hay in their pens and sell it all over the United States???
Seems to me that any state that doesn't allow hunting preserves or allow you to raise deer are really behind the times. They obviously don't have the latest information and just have their heads stuck in the sand.
