Yearling fawn going blind

I observed one of 10 yearling buck fawn going blind if not completely blind. Fairly healthy. Moms kicking them off about now? Is it polio? Is contagious? I need help quick???

Vitamin B and Thiamin is about all that may help but most times not. Not for us anyways.  Like Ryan said. Pic's are good.  Are you sure its not pink eye?   That will run through your animals if one gets it.

I'm with Mike on this and also think pink eye.  If the eye is cloudy pinched shut and weeping it is more than likely pink eye.


Nuflor is the first choice with LA- 300 a close second for treatment.

Does the eye look normal or cloudy?
