Personally myself I would think the Game commission should just give the buffalo to the indians right from the start. But the new genetics would help Turner raise better buffalo. Guess money talks is a true statement.
It sure is funny that when a rich person like Turner wants to do something like this the Montana Fish and Game can look the other way and work it out.
In 2000 this was the constant term used by the Fish and Game about the game farmers in Montana and one of the reasons to get the industry under control from health issues. These were some of the reasons for the initiative which put Montana deer and elk farmers out of business.

I have seen several documentaries about the animals in Yellowstone. The problem is that several species of animals have been infected with TB. This has been widely spread with the existance of the wolves that were introduced in recent years. The wolves have killed many buffalo and elk and have spread the remains all over the park, thus causing the spread of TB into many animals. One documentary stated that before too long ALL species living in Yellowstone would have TB infected into their respective herds.
Jack Schubarth, can you ad anything to what I have heard? Is their any of this rumored in your area? If this is true, how can MR TURNER transport these buffalo if they are carriers of diseases?
