Please give me your list of what vaccines/vitamins you give your fawns and when!!!
Ecolizer at a day of age then at weaning in September: covexin 8-2.5cc,triangle vira shield-2.5cc, staybred VL 5-1cc, presponse-1cc, fusoguard 1cc, clostridium a- 1cc. Deworm with cydectin pouron- double cattle dose or dectomax at double cattle dose IM. EHD if we can find one that works.
Can I clump many of these vaccinations together in one day of administering?

7 at one time? I would love to know how the deer like that... Dr Joe, do you think their immune systems would respond better to say 2-3?

we dont vaccinate fawns,except ecolizer, until October in TX when weaning. I am worried about vaccinating fawns before 4 months because of a problem experienced similarly in foals.. Some babies can have a reaction to vaccines with current maternal antibodies and can wreck an immune system. not saying every animal will do this but if you were concerned in the middle of an outbreak, it maybe an exception to my recommendation not to vaccinate fawns. i am cautious in vaccinating fawns and i always recommend to vaccinate the does routinely so they will pass an awesome immune system to their fawns in the colostrum.. The difference in my weaning dates from my early response(September) and my most recent response in October depends on the AI dates. If does are being lapped or AI'ed later in the year (December) we recommend weaning in October, if breeding before thanksgiving, we recommend weaning in Sept
