I have been buying goat milk from the local store for years now paying around $ 4.00 for 12 oz . I talk to a local milk goat farmer about paying the milk from them. The ? is. If the goats are have any health problems will that be in the milk ? We are going to be bottle feeding around 30 fawns...

I have had nursing mothers get sick but never had one get sick and her milk dry up, it seemed like over night. Also she is drooling out the mouth a little. Any ideas? What it is or how to treat? Jeff

I had a buck fawn aspirate some milk a couple days ago, so I gave him some draxxin. But this morning he took a turn for the worst. I am trying just to keep him alive. Is there anything else I can do if this happens again in the future?:confused:

Is there a special way to mix the milk replacer to the red cap? Each time I do it the replacer looks like cottage cheese on top of milk.

i bought grade a ultra 24 multi purpose milk replacer if says to use water in the directions . i was wondering if anybody used the red cap milk with it ? or any information on this product how good it is or anything this is my first time using milk replacer always used goat milk before . thanks...

Just wondering how you mix the replacer. The label calls for .25 lb. of replacer to 1.5 lbs. of water. This would be 6:1 ratio. This sounds to be to diluted to me. Anyone (APPLE CREEK)????????

Where I'm from most soak their veni in milk, before cooking. Ive heard goes back to Revolutionary war. Later, save the milk and use it as a sauce/gravy base. Is that traditional all over ?
