I have a 2 1\2 year old doe. She is PA Geronimo on bottom. Corbin on top she has a Tex doe as the anchor. My question is this. If I breed her to a big typical should I expect her buck fawns to be typical? If I breed her to a big nontypical will her typical genetics help clean up he fawns...

Somehow this thread hasn't been started yet this year. It was a good place to look and show off some very nice "typical" deer last summer. Hope to see some good deer...but I betcha I'm gonna see some GREAT deer!!

Kinda got an issue with what some people call typical. SCI says clearly that a typical whitetail deer can only have 3% deductions. That means if your buck is 200 inches that it can only have 6 inches of deductions to be typical. Lets start calling our deer what they are and when we call our deer...

What is the highest scoring true typical yearling out there?

Just thought I'd start a new thread to see everyones young typicals. And get opinions on each others bucks. These a few we have here.

I have had some emails from farmers offering semen from their typical bucks this year for breeding and i believe 1 was what i would call a typical rack. What is everyones meaning of a true typical whitetail rack??

I would like to see some more typical antlers. Not totally typical but much cleaner than the norm. The buck pictured is Y-30 a three year old. He is a Double Down/Mad Max son.

Speaking of Scott Neebs site here is his NICE Birchwood yearling..... Maybe the next Rambo or better yet MI Weapon????? Time will tell... Scott sent these pics asking me what I thought he would score. My guess is around 155" for a straight typical yearling that is BIG! Anyone else care...
