Hi I'm Lucky's mom,
I have a one month old fawn, rescued around 1 - 3 days old. She's well, healthy, runs and plays. I have her on a feeding schedule of 30 oz of goat's milk a day. She nibbles around on grass, clover, weeds, leaves etc. but I feel like she needs more. I've tried lettuce, spinach, timothy hay, broccoli, all to no avail. She does like pumpkin puree. I have tried calf manna sprinkled with goat's milk powder, and/or mixed with pumpkin puree. She just rolls the manna around and drops it from her mouth.
Is she too little yet? I thought I saw something on here to begin adding calf manna around 2 weeks of age, but now I can't find the post for the life of me.
She drinks no water, has no interest in water. How do I help her with these things ??
Any advice or suggestions appreciated.
Colleen
