Dan, yes that is a miniature donkey. Used to have problems with dogs coming around chasing the deer. Averaged 6 a year. I heard donkeys were good at keeping dogs and other predators away, so I got one 4 1/2 years ago, and knock on wood haven't had a problem since.

here is 2 out of 3 yearlings(#3 is camera shy still) I picked up from a friend earlier this month, He gave them to me for a great price, they are nice for typicals, I love the white feet on the one in the first pic, cant wait to see what they turn into next year.
