It almost looks like Kodiak has one big antler branching off in three directions! And is Big Jim growing a third antler, as well?

Joe,

Kodiak and Big Jim are showing effects of rubbing center skull and antler damage due to fighting with antlers cut off. This past year I left 60% antlers on lost one buck but should reduce this odd growth in middle. The photo of Kodiak shows his ear not another branch in a third direction. Thanks for looking I know their is a lot of better looking bucks out their so lets get them posted I will help you post them on Quest.

Here are a couple picture of Rold Gold. Sorry about the picture quality they were taken from a long distance.

Rold Gold has never had this much growth at this point in the year. He usually sheds his antler caps in April and runs out of time trying to grow up to the first week in September. We have never had a deer on our farm look this impressive ever and he is truly a sight to see!! The 3rd picture is Rold Gold last year when he scored 400"+. You can see that he is possibly going to carry a lot of the same traits with the double drops and long G1s already.

Thank You Steve and Faye..... your right just living the dream.....just one of many

Heath, Rold Gold is an outstanding looking buck. I love those browtines. They sure fill the void of the inside spread. How did you end up with him, I was at the Top 30 auction when Rold Gold sold as a two year old.

Also, how is the Scooter daughter? Do you feel she took to the IA?

Jeff

of the yearlings 4 of them are Maxbo Ranger sons and 2 are Maxbo Hardcore sons and 2 are Rolex sons and 1 is a Jeckyl son (suprisingly he is the smallest but that runs in his mothers side late bloomer)....the largest 2 are both Rolex sons but there is one Ranger son and one Hardcore son that are looking really good....

Rick it looks like you have som really awsome bucks coming up. I hope you the best of luck this year with all of them along with your other bucks. Hope all goes well with everything this year.
